Discussion Groups

Our discussion groups provide a vehicle for NFB members and interested blind individuals to share ideas that may assist them in a wide variety of areas, strengthen chapters and affiliates, and discuss issues of concern to the blind of Missouri and the nation. You need not be a member of the National federation of the Blind to participate in our discussion groups.

The National Federation of the Blind of Missouri operates two affiliate discussion groups. They are:

Missouri Association of Blind Students, (MABS)

This list is the discussion forum for the Missouri Association of Blind Students, (MABS.) Blind students of any age, and in any course of study may participate in our discussions. The list is made up of school-age, college, and non-traditional blind students studying in a wide variety of programs and courses. Topics include anything related to one's course of study to over-coming challenges faced by blind students persuing various fields of study, and aspects of student life. Blind students in Missouri and those interested in learning about the activities of the Missouri Association of Blind Students, and information concerning programs and resources available to Missouri's blind students and their parents will benefit from participating in this discussion group.
